  Visited on 7 August 2014 at about 3.15pm. with guests from UK. Very cold and unfriendly - we were told that the kitchen was closed, even for heating up food from the display cabinet. Service was slow (even though, apart from Park staff, we were the only guests) and we got the clear impression that we were a nuisance and should go away! The restaurant boasts a beautiful fireplace - but no fire - there were a couple of heaters scattered around - off.....altogether, a dismal experience! I strongly recommend that the Chalet Healy significantly upgrades its customer service to match the restaurant potential....and if you don't want customers, close the restaurant.

  The food was fine for a café/restaurant. However I had an 88 year old with me who requested a bun with butter. On the menu is Soup and bread roll so it isn't as if they don't have the product. The response from the cashier was that we could not have it as "it is not in the system". So continuing my recent experience of finding that the customer must respond to the service provider, we were knocked back. And businesses continue to complain that times are tough. If "the system" is this inflexible then no wonder.
